	@davidr: Will they all be in Australia? Actually I just looked, and I think it's funny that there's only 4 Oceanic cities in the top 400!

	@magister: There are some outside Australia. And, as far as I can see, there are only 23 cities in the whole of Oceania with more than 100,000 inhabitants; these are the ones that will be in the quiz. For all the other continents, the 25th-largest city has at least a million.

	I took Geography in college, and our professor almost apologized for leaving out Africa. I was able to name only 7 cities with correct spellings before I chalked this one up to a learning opportunity.

	@Catherine Ford- I am South African and there are some cities that I had not heard of. This does not make one ignorant, nor does admitting it make one stupid. These quizzes are in my opinion enjoyable because I think most people will learn a little something from most of them. I most certainly do. Calling people out for being "ignorant" only makes you look so yourself.

	@Laly, `I am South African and there are some cities that I had not heard of': Even some of the South African ones! ;-) I find this quiz very difficult: even though I did the research for it, I've not managed to get all twenty-five, yet. I think we tend to think of Africa (apart from SA) as not being the sort of place that has big cities.

	I've only heard of 8 of them (Casablanca from the movie only, and Tripoli from the USMC anthem only). Guess I'm no good in CF's book either. heh heh. Seriously, I use these quizzes as some use Brain Age or Sodoku. Keeps the mind fresh.

	@Tony: Tripoli is a capital! :-) I'm surprised you didn't get some of the South African ones, too, but maybe the UK's close sporting links with South Africa give me an advantage.

	Yeah I realized that after I left the comment. Doy on me. Probably the UK advantage is a big one, but I am just not as good at African geography as on other continents. I can get about 23+ on others, but usually I'm not logged in, I'll go do 'em now :)

	I think that it should be possible to enter the LOCAL spelling as well - not everyone is an English speaker :)

	@Patrick: Why? The two are entirely different cities. Dodoma is the official capital, but many government offices remain in Dar Es Salaam. That's why both are accepted in the capitals quiz. However, this quiz is for the largest cities, and Dodoma doesn't even come close to cracking the top 25.

	I was pleasantly surprised, I only missed three. East Rand? Is that Pretoria and if so Pretoria should be accepted. Missed Daoula and Ibadan

	Just looked it up. East Rand is part of the Johannesburg metro system- like its twin city. Minneapolis-St Paul, Dallas-Ft Worth, Tampa-St Pete, Beijing-Tianjin. Hey! That would make a pretty good quiz! Twin cities

	Another Saffer... Got 18/25. I object to Ekurhuleni/East Rand/Benoni... The quiz says "cities and their urban areas" and the East Rand is patently part of Johannesburg's Urban Area, though not its municipality. Pretoria is also part of its urban area BTW, but it's not officially recognized as such... YET. I'd also like double points for spelling Antananarivo right first time!

	at those complaining about the english thing, this is a UK/US website, and most inhabitants of those countries speak English. Sorry for the inconvenience, but that's how it is.
