	Where is this list from? I have a hard time picturing the Devon Rex as more common than the American Shorthair--in the U.S., at any rate!

	Who ever made the web page (I'll have to look for it again) wrote that these breeds are not the most common as pets, but most common in a sense of how difficult it is to find breeders and/or info on these breeds. I am not from US (I'm from Croatia), so whatever I look for online (to make quizes) I'm trying to find world lists. Not lists of a specific country :)

	Hmmm...interesting, but pretty vague. It sounds like the author of the website wasn't very clear him/herself on exactly what criteria make a cat one of the "most common breeds."

	The author does have Most Popular Cat Breeds aswell and that list contains, among others, American Shorthair :) But I saw that someone already made that kind of quiz. I can speak for Croatias point of view and say that American Shorthair isn't very common. Most common breeds here would be Exota, Siamese, Maine Coon and Persian. These are the cats that are most often mentioned on TV, most people I know have them and they outnumber other breeds on cat shows. I hope I've helped and cleared it up :)
