| This is indeed a bizarre list, especially because Rolling Stone often trash Rush when they were in their prime.
Also, as much as I enjoy Linkin Park or Bryan Adams or even Poison, they certainly didn't deserve to make this list when other great rock bands such as the Rolling Stones or the Beatles. Plus how can the who's Tommy or Quadrophenia not make the list? And Seventh Son is a decent Maiden album, but I can think of at least three others that are better, with Powerslave or Somewhere in Time being at the right period to make the list. Finally: Screaming for Vengeance or Painkiller not making the list?
On the other hand, at least it's not one of those bogus which features the types of bands you only ever heard about in college, that you pretend to know about to not seem unhip. And even better yet--no Oasis. |
