	nailed it! ....well, i've been informed by my english sporclemaniac boyfriend that "drubbing" is primarily a british/english word, so i did have to consult him on that one.

	Also, some other grammar mistakes that lead to confusion: To give a scolding would be 'berate.' Burn does not mean 'To Overbaked' (which should be corrected spelling-wise.) Over-baking as far as I know is different than burning something. Finally, "Muhammad Ali does this like a bee" otherwise the correct answer is stung. I am not normally fussy about grammar but in this case it caused confusion in the quiz.

	Great quiz and I hate to quibble, but a farce is not necessarily satirical, though satires are often farcical. @pr: list has multiple definitions. One of them is lean.

	@pr: it's a little obscure, but it's in your definition right there: "To incline to one side; careen: the ship listed to starboard." It's a verb, quite similar to inclining, thus, 'to list' is acceptable. For Americans, the term 'list' is used (albeit briefly) in the Family Guy episode "Blue Harvest" (the Star Wars spoof).

	Nice quiz... but I missed the "drubbing" answer because I typed in the infinitive of the answer instead of the present participle/gerund. In fact I tried both the before and after several times. The after clue, as pr mentioned, indicates the answer should be in the form of the infinitive. (Although the before clue suggests the gerund.) I think both answers should be acceptable or the clues should be changed.

	Only missed beating/berating - didn't know what drubbing was and guessed berate for the scolding clue. Agree it should say giving a scolding. But a fun game. :)

	Considering the only one I missed was due to an error on quizmaker's part (berating =/= to give a scolding) and that my vocabulary is mostly pathetic, I would conclude that this quiz was too easy. Still, kind of fun...

	Got to love the dickheads on here who mark you down when you state a correction is needed for the benefit of future players, which is then speedily corrected by Sporcle. Just because it now says "to overbake" does not mean it originally did. Twonks.
