	drc 5 words republic of the congo and port au prince are 3 words its not french provinces its french regions and la rioja and pais vasco werent on the source i looked at. IronFirefly: i'll add a few more minuets is 15 enough

	This isn't exactly essential to the quiz, but the state containg Santa Fe is New Mexico, not Mexico City.

	UK counties is missing County Durham (and that's its proper name, with the 'county' included, that's how you write it as an address, for example). Also, accepting the English versions for some words would be good, such as Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, etc.

	Since you put the other Mexican states in Spanish, Mexico State is iffy because in Spanish it's Estado de Mexico. Maybe that should be a bonus answer.

	Northwest Territories is not a Canadian province—it's a Canadian territory. (Including Northwest Territories in the Canadian provinces list is similar to including Puerto Rico in the USA states list.) Also, why isn't "United States" in the countries list? Yes, yes, I know, the full name of the country is "United States of America." But you're using the short names of all the other countries—the full name of the United Kingdom is United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, but you included "United Kingdom" in the list. "Ulan Bator" is an acceptable spelling of the capital of Mongolia, and it should be a bonus, at least.

	If you're going to accept Northwest Territories for the Canada question, you need to accept Yukon Territory. But of course, they're both territories and not provinces.

	Good quiz, but worth fixing the points made by the readers, and also adding a bit more time. I consider myself pretty good at geography (I was in the 98th percentile for this one), but this quiz is one of those where looking things up is part of the fun. No one is going to come close to answering them all otherwise. (Only .2% of players, or 1 person, got more than 72 answers.) For US and Canada, it should be states and territories. Mexico city is in DF: the distrito federal. (New Delhi is in the National Capital Region, so it counts as a capital, but wouldn't appear as a state.)

	Fun stuff. A few typos - You need to capitalize 'Leone' in Sierra Leone, 'Ivoire' in Cote d'Ivoire, and 'York' in New York. You also have an extra '.' hanging around in 'Saint John's'. Also, not to be Anglo-centric, but just from a practical standpoint, I'll bet very few people on here have any idea about the states of Austria, for example.

	@folio1701: Yukon Territory is officially simply known as Yukon and therefore, should remain off the quiz. @TerryWilhemer: It's because Pretoria is the Sporcle-recognized capital of South Africa though the other two are usually accepted as bonuses too. I also would've got Balearic Islands and Canary Islands had the English names been acceptable.
