	Spelled Malphabet on the first try, woot! Also, get your history straight. A-Rod attempted to give back money from his original contract to make a trade to Boston happen, the players' union kiboshed it. If you're referring to '07, I'm completely unaware of Boston even tendering him an offer, much less one in the stratosphere of what he got. Chowderheads have enough reasons to hate on A-Rod without making them up.

	Some of these you have to type in the first and last name while others you don't, you should fix that. Also, Gagne was not Epstein's worst acquisition as pointed out above. Giving up Kason Gabbard and Dave Murphy is not even close to the repercussions of paying a .250 hitter who can't field at SS almost $10 mil a year.

	I agree with Yankees suck. You guys that hate on Damon for leaving for more money would probably sell your mothers for $25 bucks. Still don't get that. What happens anywhere else in the world if you get hired to do a job, come in, work your butt off, get the job done and then move on to another job (not to mention, be a really likable guy while you do it)? They thank you for a job well done and wish you well in the future. Do that for Boston and they call you a traitor.

	I thought this was a Yankees fan who made the quiz. All the Sox fans I know (I'm one of them) are just thrilled with how the 2000s have gone (well, in baseball at least). This quiz would have been painful ten years ago but now it's just fun. Also, alpha, Damon said in 2005 that he could see having to leave the Sox in free agency but that he would never go to the Yankees. I think it's that more than him leaving for more money.

	i dont think gagne or mientkiewicz should be on there. i think names that are associated with losing a series or opposing evil icons like dent, boone, and a rod. Jeter is kind of questionable too. Even though i'm a sox fan, Jeter is aight.

	I'm a Red Sox fan coming to you live from Somerville, MA... most of us don't worry about this stuff, and most of us realize there's very little difference (post-free agency, minus revenue sharing) between us and the Yankees. And I would contend JD Drew was Theo's worst signing (though his grand slam in 07 was HUGE).

	I always hate to see the way red sox fans cringe at the name Buckner. Any true fan would know that every player, no matter how good, makes errors. Plus, the sox had a chance to make up for that error the next day and got crushed. True fans remember that without Buckner it is very unlikely that they would have even made the playoffs that year.

	Idiot Red Sox fans still think that A-Rod chose the Yankees over the Red Sox...he WANTED to go to the Red Sox, they pussy-footed and didn't manage to get the deal done, and then the Yankees came in and made the trade. And the same idiots taunt him every game in Fenway about steroids, but still have a collective orgasm every David Ortiz comes to bat. I'm not saying A-Rod has been a lovable figure, but when you consider the reasons behind it, the Red Sox fans pathological hatred of the man really is pretty misguided.

	Dice-K may have been the worst of Theo's long list of terrible acquisitions. Gagne was about a $3 million mistake, Dice-K about $103 million.

	I think Ed Armbrister or Larry Barnett (or both!) ought to be on this list. Scott Boras wouldn't be a bad addition either. Was Gagne even on the series roster? Even if he was, he certainly didn't "almost cost" the Red Sox the 2007 series. Btw, I'm a diehard Sox fan and I have NEVER blamed Buckner for '86. He should've been lifted for a defensive replacement, first of all (and it had been standard practice to do that most of the playoffs up to that point), but in any case, the game was already tied before he made the error, due to Schiraldi's inability to close it out and Stanley's wild pitch. And the speedy Mookie Wilson may have beaten Buckner to first anyway. Not to mention that we had a 3 run lead in game 7. Enough with the steroid debate already. Every team is guilty, and both batters and pitchers did it, so no stats or titles are "tainted", as far as I'm concerned. In particular, no Yankee fan should belittle '04 and '07, and similarly no Sox fan should do the same with '96 and '98-'00.
