| Wellesley is incorrectly spelled, but Colgate, Wesleyan, and Washington and Lee, despite having graduate programs, are considered LACs by US News and World Report based on the size of their undergraduate vs. graduate populations and historical missions.
Cf. Dartmouth College and College of William and Mary - two universities which have the 'College' appellation but which have large enough graduate populations that they're considered universities by US News' standards. |
