Eddie Van Halen was ranked 70 on this list. That's ridiculous in every sense of the word. I'd like to see half these guitarists play "Eruption".

WOW. Kurt Cobain, but no Eddie Van Halen??? Also, I don't even like AC/DC and I still think Angus Young should be on here.

Some nice surprises, some VERY STRANGE omissions. I've never been a Van Halen fan, but to omit Eddie Van Halen seems almost sacreligious. And I love Stephen Stills, and he's a phenomenal songwriter, but one of the top 30 guitarists of all time?

Lastly, if the list is open to pre-rock blues guitarists, then Son House, Mississipi John Hurt, Blind Willie Johnson and John Lee Hooker are shameful omissions.
