This is part 2 of 2, with the 1923-1950 championship starting 9/10s to be in a separate quiz. Positional players were based on who made the most starts at each position, with outfield alignments approximated where this conflicted a bit. Pitchers were based on who made the most starts during the regular season. Feedback appreciated, even of the "Yankees suck" strain. Thanks for playing.

3B in '51 is blank. This brought back some great memories. Thanks!

Good quiz. If you're bored and want to tinker, could always add managers, but it's solid as is.

thanks timeEd. Sporcle ate Bobby Brown, possibly in retaliation for the Remixes In The Key of B album. It is fixed.

Ruben Sierra was traded midway through the '96 season for Cecil Fielder

It's a shame Don Mattingly never won a World Series with the Yankees. This coming from a Red Sox fan.

1996 was way off. Gerald Williams and Rubin Sierra were not on the Championship team. LF was either Raines or Strawberry, and DH was Cecil Fielder. In 2000, LeDee was traded for David Justice. And I don't understand what qualifies the SP. No David Wells in 1998?

Joey, I understand your question, as Boomer started the 1998 World Series, however, the OPENING DAY starting pitcher in '98 is correct: http://www.baseball-almanac.com/box-scores/boxscore.php?boxid=199804010ANA
