	I understand Posnanski is responsible for the order, and as much as I am a Cardinals/Pujols fan, he's not #7 all-time ahead of Aaron, Mays, etc. This list is also more of a power list, as it doesn't include guys who were pure hitters, like Gwynn, Rose and Suzuki (although Waner is on there.)

	I love Joe Poznanski, and this is an interesting list. I'm surprised he put Paul Waner on there ahead of Ichiro, Gwynn, Rose, Killebrew, Boggs, Brett, etc. Also surprised he ranked Edgar Martinez so high.

	If you read the article and the follow-up (http://joeposnanski.si.com/2009/10/17/best-pure-hitters/), he explains to some extent that pure hitters are not the best hitters if they don't have some power or the ability to take a walk.

	Don't understand why Mantle is so high up on these lists. Take a look: Aaron: 755 HR, 2297 RBI, 3771 hits,6856 TB, 1383 Ks,.305 BA, Mantle: 536 HR, 1509 RBI, 2415 hits 4511 TB, 1710 Ks, .298 BA. There is really no offensive category in which Mantle is higher than Aaron or Mays (only strikeouts). What am I missing here?
