| Hieroglyphic and demotic are both scripts of Middle or Late Egyptian--I'd guess that this is late Egyptian, but I couldn't find it readily on the Internet. Many people refer to Demotic as a language, because it is about as different from, script-wise, hieroglyphs as Korean is from Japanese. (That is, very.) I'm fine with that. However, requiring "hieroglyphs" is like asking me "So, what language is this letter written in?" and expecting the answer "print and cursive." Either change it to scripts on the Rosetta stone (where you don't need to change anything), or accept Middle/Late Egyptian. Additionally, Remus is NOT a traditional founder of Rome. He and Romulus grew up together with the wolf and Faustulus and stuff, but when it came time to found their destined city, they disagreed on what the sign Jupiter had sent them meant. So, Romulus started building a city on the Palatine hill, and Remus a different city on the Aventine. Then Remus made fun of Romulus, so Romulus killed him. I do hear this misconception a lot, but I still don't understand it. Romulus killed Remus because he tried to found a different city... That's not the same as helping Romulus found Rome... Also, it might be nice if you had more geographical diversity (Asia, South America, and Africa are all pretty much absent). |
