Eh? Surely everything is warm when warmed! I thought someone was going to say that it was because children leave milk and cookies out for Santa Claus or something like that. I'm not from the US so am interested in how Christmas customs differ across the Atlantic (incidently, here in the UK it's much more common for Father Christmas to be left a mince pie and a glass of something alcoholic - ginger wine in my family!)

yes, in the US, cookies and milk are traditionally left by children for santa to eat and drink when he visits their home. my question is, what does orange have to do with christmas?

is the orange tradition a regional thing?? i've never heard that and family never did it... then again i never liked oranges as a kid lol... and yes cookies/milk for santa and carrots for rudolph!!
