| This is a fascinating cross-section of the internet movie fan community. In one corner, you have "geek" stuff (most watchable but undeserving of TOP 200 of ALL TIME placement) like Sin City, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, The Matrix, The Terminator, Terminator 2, and V For Vendetta (the only actively risible film of these).
In another, pseudo-intelligent film hipsters raised on the Holy Pantheon of Tarantino, Fincher, Aronofsky, Mann, and Nolan.
And one step above them, the "I'm cool because I have seen several foreign film" people, who clearly championed Downfall, The Lives of Others, Das Boot, Amelie (though no slight against that wonderful film), and City of God.
And beyond those, the film snobs, who are not that many, but their unity on certain films pushed them in: Wild Strawberries, any Buster Keaton or Charlie Chaplin film, 8 1/2, etc.
