Very fun quiz, I liked it! @MorningBell411: I think it's spelled "asterisk"? Unless you're talking about something else...

Nice quiz. I did find some of the "ux" answers rather obscure. And the answer to "a triangle has three" is in singular form even though the clue calls for plural form. Overall, very good.

Funny, peak could work with -ex too: apex. Also, an alternate answer for Male or Female could be 'unisex'.
I agree that a couple of the -ux answers are a little obscure. Here's a few possible alternatives: Klux, deux, Sioux, redux, Pollux.

I think the prefix and suffix clues could be defined better. My mind immediately started thinking of specific verbs where adding those pre/suffixes make common words: e.g. fixable, fixing, fixed. Perhaps make the clue read "examples: -able, -ing, -ed"??

It doesn't seem quite fair to put in French plural forms like chateaux and beaux. Although the singulars of those words have been adopted into English, we make their plurals by English morphology (chateaus and beaus) not by the French morphology. Case in point, the spell checker on Sporcle underlines chateaux and beaux in red to tell me I've spelled something wrong :)

@WorldWhiz: Great quiz! One question though. How did you underline the title? I know how to underline, but whenever I click Save Changes, it ununderlines it.

so ashamed i missed the Lorax. and to echo what everyone else has said about some of the french plurals being a little obscure, you could always get rid of (deep sIX) one of those and replace it with linux...

Gave up on "Lorax" when it wouldn't accept "Zax"- please accept that as an alternative. Also, your thumb is a "pollex", and should probably be accepted as a finger.
