Okay, I'll be the first to complain that the dates, though they do refer to the year that she received the nomination, are not the dates of the films' releases, and, therefore, not the standard way of referencing Oscar dates.

and maybe the last to complain, also.

It's strangely apropos (given the film's subject matter) that I simply cannot ever recall the title of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I knew the movie - I just couldn't think of the name.

Very easy. But the years are definitely all wrong.

I can't believe she wasn't nominated for Revolutionary Road

@arcad - she was expected to be nominated for lead for Revolutionary Road, and possibly supporting for The Reader. But then The Reader got a lot more Oscar support than most people thought (including Best Picture and Director nominations), and I think that pushed it ahead of Revolutionary Road for Kate (and the voters weren't buying her campaign for The Reader as a supporting role).

It's probably a good thing she missed out on a a nomination for Revolutionary Road anyway. If she were nominated it's likely she would have split her own votes with The Reader and missed out an Oscar alltogether.

I love Kate Winslet. Sam Mendes is a fool.
