	Great quiz! but for more alternatives, "happy as Larry" (or as "a lark", or "a pig in a muck"); "black as pitch"; "sick as a parrot"; "hard as nails" (or "steel", "stone"), "flat as your hand"... A good way to find/compare alternatives is to type eg "happy as" into the google box and see what suggestions it gives!

	I was also going to suggest "hard as nails" and "clear as mud". It may be semi-sarcastic, but it's a legitimate and often-used idiom.

to be technical, these are similies not idioms. An idiom is a set of words put together that mean something different than their actual literal meanings, such as "I have a frog in my throat" meaning a horse voice, not an actually frog in the larynx! It was fun however, just my teacher side coming out!

	@Celestianpower, happy as a clam IS an american thing. I'm guessing "Happy as Larry" is British, because I've never hear of it

	Great quiz. Think you should add: proud as Punch, quiet as the grave, cute as kittens, sharp as a knife, and definitely sick as a parrot. I hadn't heard of some of your "correct" answers!

	I concur with those saying (especially in World Cup season!) that "sick as a parrot" should be in there. I think Punch tends to get invoked for "pleased as Punch" rather than proud. But kudos (and 5 sporcles) for adding "(in a rug)" there :D !
