"Fire Emblem" is the international name for a game that none of those characters appeared in (prominently), so it would be incorrect as-is. That being said, I think you should specify "Metroid: Zero Mission" for Zero Suit Samus, because it refers to the actual suit she wears, not the fact that she isn't wearing her Power Suit.

With the Marth/Roy/Ike thing, you can type the number in the series (i.e. Fire Emblem 7) as well as several english translations, for what it's worth. I tried to be as lenient as I could, but the first American GBA release of Fire Emblem hindered me. Good point on the Metroid. I always assumed Zero Suit Samus to simply be Samus without her power suit. I've never played Zero Mission. Now that I've done more digging, it seems to be the more viable answer as it was the first game you actually controlled her without the power suit.

"Ball"? That's a bit too specific, if you ask me. I've played a number of Game & Watch games, but I never would have guessed that.

Young Link is debatable. I know that's what the SSBM trophy said, but OoT was the first game where he was specifically a child or adult. So it should probably be an alternate answer for both Links (not Toon). I also think you should include Blue/Silver/Pearl in the actual answers. It doesn't really matter, but as a Pokemon fan who prefers those versions over their counterparts, it kinda bugs me.

Certainly an excellent quiz, but like almost every single other quiz on this site, you don't accept Lylat Wars as an acceptable answer for Star Fox 64. It's not like I don't know both names, but it's more professional to include regional variants for names.

Can you also accept Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red/Blue for Lucario? Even though Brawl doesn't credit it, Lucario first appeared in that as a statue, not D/P.

Roy technically debuted in Melee, as it came out before Fuin no Tsurugi.

Good quiz, but I also has something to say about these. Pikachu, Mewtwo, etc. should be Green and Red (Japan had these games before US had Red and Blue).

If you're accepting Mother 2 for Ness, you probably should accept Pokemon Green for Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, and the Trainer. Otherwise, great quiz!

Alright, I accepted Pokemon Green. I did not accept the mystery dungeon because, as with the Metroid Zero Mission, Lucario was not an actual character, but only a statue. Same deal with Roy and SSBM. Roy, as a character in a series, was introduced in Fuin No Tsurugi.
