The first Supporting Actress' last name needs to be accepted. Also you need to count films like It Happened One Night where Lead Actor and Actress were nominated before the Supporting categories were made real.

You forgot about the film Johnny Belinda.

@Coulraphobic: They asked Jane Wyman about it but she had nothing to say.

Looks like all the Johnny Belinda actors are only accepting full names. I was sure Jane Wyman was in it (and pretty sure Agnes Moorehead must have been in at least one of these :)), but the last names didn't take.

Anyone else find it painfully ironic that Sidney Poitier wasn't nominated for Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?

The responses for "Johnny Belinda" require the first and last name. I tried Wyman numerous times before adding Jane and getting it correct.

What I've learnt: I need to watch more classic films. I got 3, and one of those I only got because he shared a surname with one of 2 I did guess correctly.

@ booklover12: In 1967 the great Mr. Poitier (the first African-American Actor to win an Academy Award for "Lilies of the Field "--Hattie McDaniel won Best Supporting Actress for GWTW) had three huge films: "To Sir With Love, In the Heat of the Night, which won for Best Film and Best Actor (Rod Steiger who thanked Mr. Poitier profusely) and GWCtD". It was speculated and logical to assume that he was 'competing' against himself and received votes for all three but not enough for any one to have been nominated. Odd to have 3 huge films in one year. ?More than u needed to know?

^Thanks for explaining. No, I didn't know that; it's always cool to learn something new. What a year for Mr. Poitier!

Needs to be updated for J-Law's win.

Not only do the names require first and last in Johnny Belinda, but Jane Wyman won for Best Actress.

Jane Wyman won for her performance in Johnny Belinda (missing the asterisk). Jennifer Lawrence just won for her performance in Silver Linings.
