Couscous is popular all over North Africa. Accept US and USA. Falafel is popular all over the Levant.

'Goulash...goulash...where is that Hungarian goulash from?' I felt like Peter playing Trivial Pursuit: "What color are those red firetrucks?'

For couscous, Morocco usually comes to mind over Tunisia, and Lebanon for falafel over Israel. Although I think all North African nations should be accepted for the first and all Levantine ones for the second.

This quiz has potential, but it should be longer, and should also have some alternative answers.

yeah, perhaps replace the falafel and couscous with different foods. you should either add more answers or shorten the time. good idea.

Falafel is definitely Israeli, but sure, you should accept alternatives.

i like how you have something more interesting than hamburgers and hot dogs for the united states. id choose a bowl of shrimp jamabalaya with creole seasoning and tabasco sauce over ballpark food any day

Maybe change title: Where do these dishes originate from? Because 'fondue savoyarde' and 'fondue bourguignonne' are considered part of French gastronomy for example. Then why not add 'mussels and fries' for Belgium and 'wurst' for Germany/Austria? Good game!
