Did you add Zorua and Zoroark to bonus too as it has #495?

Ah, looks like Bulbapedia has already added them to the count of Pokemon. I think I'll take them off though, since they don't actually exist yet.

Tackle is like the signature move of Pokémon.

Ancientpower, really? I would have never in a million years have guessed that. The other ones I missed were pretty easy though. Interesting quiz.

Scary Face? Really? I'm suprised at that one. I also thought Supersonic would be on there, as it seems like alot of pokemon have that move.

Pokemon don't technically ever 'learn' struggle.

Ancientpower is used on so many Legendaries, so I knew it had to be on here. Plus fossil types and the Pokémon that need it to now evolve into their new forms have it too.

Agreed, they've really given Ancient Power a push in the last few years. I guessed it because I've tried breeding for it and it is actually quite common throughout most of the egg groups.

@alanna: I thought the same thing about Supersonic. Maybe it's just because of Zubat. I mean, you have to fight so many of the dang things throughout the games, so it just seems more common than it really is.

Some of these took me by suprise. More pokemon learn leer than growl? Really? Also didn't expect hydro pump or ancient power to even be on the list.

#4 was quite a surprise to me... I actually considered it but I dismissed it right away and didn't even type it. And where's Peck?

@kevb13 when you are making a quiz, in the third column put "ee". It just can't be the first answer. (my Pokemon quiz uses 153 bonus answers, only one real answer)

Yeah, I was thinking of moves from Gen 2 and 3, I didn't realise for a while that it was only Gen 1 moves and their frequency in Gen 1.

i was thinking gen 1. very few pokemon learn double edge or ancient power. im surprised poison sting, defense curl and more of the basic weak attacks weren't on it.

try the tms that most pokemon learn i am willing to bet hyper beam is on there.

Hyper beam might make the list. But it's got stuff like Hidden Power, Return, Frustration, Round, Facade, Protect, Rest, and Attract above it (roughly in that order), which are all learned by over 600 mons. Interesting to see that only gen 1 and 2 moves made the cut.

For TMs, don't forget Toxic, which can be taught to every single pokemon that can learn TMs. I think Swift is pretty common too, but I'm not totally sure.
