I know you're using the source, and sorry to be grim, but Port-au-Prince might be slightly lower in the list now.

Oh, geez. I don't want to think about how far Port-Au-Prince fell in the rankings. Not a happy thing to consider.

Why is Porto only listed as a bonus answer when it's tied with the last one on the list?

There should really either be 21 answers, or else porto and port harcourt should both be accepted for the 20th.

@adamnvillani: Because the powers-that-be at Sporcle have decided that it's Oporto. See for yourself, it doesn't even accept Porto anymore.

I only got 6. But great and challenging quiz. I'm surprised only 80% got Paris.

How about Pusan as a bonus? It's just as commonly spelled that way as Busan. (Beijing, on the other hand, is no longer properly spelled Peking.)

Had to fall back on my memory of world capitals and hoped that Palikir and Port-Vila had overnight population booms...

Yes, world capitals weren't as big a help as I was hoping for—Palikir, Port Vila, Port Louis, Paramaribo, Port-of-Spain... of course I was too busy with that to think of Philadelphia.

I was too distracted watching TV to think of Paris, Phoenix, or any of the answers in the right column. Great quiz, but my short attention span got the best of me.

Once again, the obscure third-world megalopolii stump me... Hard to believe that Providence metro has so many people when the city only has about 200K people

I live in Providence and I didn't get this answer. There is no WAY Providence belongs on this quiz... The entire state of RI doesn't even have as many people as are supposedly in the Providence metro area (according to this quiz). Are we stealing from Boston??

Azazello: Providence metro includes most of Bristol County, MA (New Bedford, Fall River, Taunton and Attleboro) as well as the entire state of RI. So yes, Providence metro pop > RI state pop. And i also live in Providence and missed it.

@dav_uz. Yes, me. Tried Portsmouth although i knew there was no chance it was on there. Although that was probably less optimistic than many of my guesses- palikir, port louis, porto novo. Apparently i dont know that many cities beginning with P.
