If you liked this quiz, I have an 'M' version published and a few others contributed. Check 'em out if you'd like, and enjoy this quiz!

Great idea for a quiz. One thing: I typed in "and" by accident and it put in Addis Ababa as an answer. Not sure what's going on there, but that should be addressed :P

Weird, seems like that was being caused by an extra slash in the "Data" column. Thanks for the feedback!

This was damn hard, but still fun! Harder than the previous ones. Got 9/20... missed Athens, but other than that, I cannot be too hard on myself for I hadn't even heard of five of these plus-million cities (and I like geography a lot). Bonus questions would be nice here as well... maybe Adelaide or such.

I purposely put these quizzes out in order of overall difficulty, since they can get insanely hard. The next one might actually be a bit easier, but after that they're all like this or harder. And as for the bonus, since you requested it, Adelaide has been added. I didn't think it was recognizable enough to include at first but I'll add any reasonable bonus on request.

Amsterdam for a bonus?

Austin and Amsterdam should be bonuses along with Adelaide, since they're both ranked higher..

Thanks guys, I have no idea how I missed such obvious bonuses. They've been added.

Some possible bonuses could be: Aberdeen, Abu Dhabi, Albany, and Albuquerque. Great quiz! 5/5

i can tell that the city mayors list is incomplete because almaty should definitely be on this quiz (please note: i do not blame the maker, but rather city mayors)

Really nice. I'd put Acapulco as a bonus, but that's the only change I'd make.

Well, none of the suggested bonuses are even in the source, and therefore lack the necessary info for them to be included. As for Almaty, this source gives its population as 1,100,000 so it misses the cut. In other news, the latest quiz in this series is here: http://www.sporcle.com/games/Unidentifiedkiwi/p_metros

@Unidentifiedkiwi: I think a good addition to your "World Metros" series would be "K World Metros". There are many possibilities: Karachi, Kolkata, Kathmandu, Kobe, Kyoto, Kuala Lumpur, Katowice, Kampala, Kinshasa, etc.

I would normally say that I already have the order these quizzes planned, but by some twist of fate K was the one good letter I had forgotten about, so thanks! T is the next one, but I think I'll bump K up to the one after that.

Also, "C World Metros": Chicago, Chittagong, Cairo, Chennai (or Madras?), Casablanca, Cape Town, Calcutta (or Kolkata?), etc.

Results looks weird. How could more people possibly get Amritsar than, say Ankara, Antananarivo and Ahmedabad?

On the site, it says Addis Abeba. Not sure whether it's a misprint or not. FYI. Great quiz otherwise!
