The Marquess of Salisbury's surname was Cecil (or Gascoyne-Cecil) rather than Talbot though, surely? And if you are counting Whigs and Liberals (and National Liberals) as the same, why not Tories and Conservatives (and Unionists)? Surely Peel should count as the first Conservative if not?
Otherwise, on a purely aesthetic note I would prefer if the usual party colours these days were used - red for Labour, blue for Conserative, yellow for Liberal.
