Great idea for a quiz. I think 3 minutes goes by awfully fast, though.

What are the parameters for being an answer? I've played around with the AP archive and find several non-BCS schools who've made an AP poll this decade but aren't given as answers (including Nevada, Marshall, Northern Illinois, Memphis, Bowling Green, UTEP and Central Michigan).

No need to include the line "Current FCS schools..." in the note since those schools don't meet the criteria of the first line in the note. Also, that additional line would make Santa Clara a correct answer, as they dropped football in 1993 and are therefore not a current FCS school.

Not that I'm a huge fan, but why are excluding Notre Dame?

@ TheBiscuit I assume that they are excluded because of their special status under the BCS.

Why no inclusion of FCS teams that were once ranked? It'd be tougher. And Notre Dame, although independent, helped form the BCS

Thanks guys. Alternate names have been added for all of the schools that have one. As for the FCS schools, I considered it but wanted to just stick with schools that were currently in the top level.

Some of the schools had a lot of top 25 appearances when they were part of what are now BCS leagues, such as SMU, Houston, TCU and Tulane.
