	I have heard of Australia being described as an island before, though I must admit, I've never heard the same applied to Antarctica. You should add the UK in the "belongs to" column where Ireland is concerned, though. The country's full name is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, after all. ;)

	If you're going to include two continental landmasses, why not include all four and why use the term "islands"? Also, it should probably be noted that not all of Ireland belongs to the Republic of Ireland.

	Hi guys. I will work on the Ireland one. Australia is not a continent though. The continent is Oceania and is not only comprised of Australia but of a further 13 sovereign states. Antarctica is very controversial though., and you'll find people who would say it's an island or continent. Anyway, thanks for your help guys! Have a good day!

	I agree that Australia per se isn't a continent. It is, however, a continental landmass, albeit the smallest one. Eurasia is another example where the continental borders doesn't match the physical landmass as it's divided between Europe and Asia.

	Hi guys, I've decided to leave Antarctica as a bonus answer. I think that is a good compromise. I do have to add another island thought to compensate for Antarctica's removal.

	The statement that "Australia is not a continent" is utterly absurd. Geologically "Australia" is the continent (including New Guinea, Tasmania, and a few other islands, but certainly not the entire Pacific) and mainland Australia (what you're calling here the "island") is the continental landmass. "Oceania" is a region and a cultural construct that's sometimes referred to as a continent, but that still doesn't make Australia an island.

	@masaeaida. You are contradicting yourself by saying every other island in the 'Oceania' region is an island barring Australia. Australia is an island as are Fiji, Samoa, Nauru, Vanuatu and other such isles and islands world-wide. The geological landmass is known as Australasia (I believe that is it's correct spelling). I should know, my old man is a geologist.
