...And you say yourself- IN THE QUESTION- "Can you name the title of each series?" That would imply that you're looking for the title... actually, it doesn't so much imply it as directly SAY it. Thus, if the title is "Star Trek", the correct answer is "Star Trek". The series was never called "The Original Series"- when they created it, I'm pretty sure they weren't positive that it was going to produce spin-offs. You can't force people to enter a fan-created retronym as the only correct answer.
Unrelated, why make quiz takers answer in order? Aside from not allowing "Star Trek" to count for both the first and last answers, there's no reason to make people remember the specific order of the series and films, especially when you're combining the two into a single quiz.
Otherwise, I like this quiz- I really do. It's a good idea, and while I know there's been a published quiz for naming all of the films, I've never seen the movies and TV shows in one game. But a couple of your requirements- and then dismissing a legitimate comment by contradicting your own question- is ridiculous. |
