| @yellow62993: Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending how you look at it), Christmas is a national holiday now, even celebrated by some who don't even believe in God, let alone Jesus. Government offices and public schools are closed (I don't know about other countries). It isn't as if only practicing Christians get the day off. It has become so NOT about Christ, with all the commercialism and crap. For my own sanity, I think of it more of a time of giving and being with family... which is the only thing I enjoy about the whole season anymore. |
