| While I consider the source authoritative, it is a bit confused. I looked because of gaps which did not make sense, like Turkey, with all of its neighbors having bears, but not being in your quiz. In its description of the range, it includes Greece, Turkey, and Turkmenistan, but exludes them in the list of countries. It does include Lebanon in the list of regionally extinct countries and Kyrgyzstan (!!) in the list of countries but I think you missed them by mistake. I leave it to you to decide whhich of IUCN's lists to use, but you should include Lebanon and Kyrgyzstan. |
