Good, enjoyable quiz. However, you seem to be missing Castform. You get given one at the Weather Institute in R/S/E.

You might also want to consider Manaphy, as you can get the egg from Pokemon Ranger (sent, not traded).

I meant to encompass things like that Manaphy or the Jirachi from Pokémon Channel with what I mentioned in the note. Since that obviously wasn't clear, I've altered the note a bit.

Great quiz! I never realized how many there were and I definitely had to put on my thinking cap.

I can't believe I forgot the fossils... Anyways, could Shedinja count as an extra?

You need an extra Pokéball in your bag to get Shedinja when you evolve Nincada, so in that sense, it's not free.

That's true, but if you wanted to get really picky, you'd say that since you're given five free Poké Balls at the start of every game, any Pokémon is free. That's why I put what I did in the note - to make it clearer what kind of answers would be accepted in this quiz.

Why would anybody want a Slugma?

I feel pretty dumb after this. I put in Pikachu and the 3 1st generation starter Pokemon but completely forgot to put in all the other generations' for a few minutes. also i got all the fossils except aerodactyl. Took me forever to remember all the baby Pokemon gotten in eggs too.

Actually, TotalPotato, you don't need an extra Pokéball in the 3rd generation. So perhaps Shedninja should count.

Thanks, I didn't know that! I'm still a bit hesitant about including it, because one could argue that you need to use a Poké Ball to catch Nincada before evolving it into Shedinja, but I'll certainly include it as a bonus answer.

Spearow could arguably be a bonus answer, since it's not a free Pokemon - you're expected to give it back! =O

Those are the evolved forms of Anorith and Lileep, both of which are included.

I had absolutely no idea that you could get a Bulbasuar in Cerulean City, a Charmander from this "Damian", or a Squirtle from Officer Jenny. Can somebody please tell me how?

That's only in Pokémon Yellow. I don't know the exact details, since I've never played it.

wow, the eggs from Primo. That's really obscure. But it's awesome being able to get a Mareep to crush Falkner with. RAAAAARGH!

Yeah, I had to look up Primo on Bulbapedia after this one, never heard of him before...and I can't believe I managed to get all of the baby egg Pokemon AND the starters, but I didn't think about the Fossils!
