Should accept just Brighton for Brighton and Hove. Other than that, good quiz! Lots that I thought must be cities weren't!

I got 44 (I'm including Brighton & Stoke there), but somehow forgot Manchester!

I've put one of these on including Wales and Scotland. I'm glad we agree which places in England are cities! Good quiz.

What's the definition of "city" in England?

Good quiz. Only suggestion is that "Stoke" should be enough. To answer nitpicker, a city has been granted a royal charter to be known as a city. Anything that hasn't (e.g. Reading, population 300,000) is still just a town.

I got 48 and I'm really annoyed at myself for missing Lincoln and Salisbury.
