Good quiz. Not quite enough time to get all the words unless you've memorized it word for word!

I'm sure glad salvation only requires believing what's in it - not being able to recite it word for word!

Slightly difficult for one who recited this in school from the 1928 Protestant Episcopal
Book of Common Prayer
("one God the Father", "sitteth", "maker", "quick and the dead", "Holy Ghost", "shall judge", etc.)

The Book of Common Prayer has it differently. Lutherans say it differently than either of these. I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only son, Our Lord Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit And born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate Was crucified, died, and was buried. He descending into hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit the Holy Catholic church the communion of Saints the forgiveness of sins the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.

For a moment I thought this was the Nicene Creed. I kept trying to spell 'apostolic' before I figured out I was thinking of the wrong version.
