| @Toby123 Thanks for asking. Sentence 2 is the conclusion from sentence 1 and its effect, ie. the given time limit is ridiculously too low. If you know the prayer fluently, this is a typing challenge, not a quiz. If you have to think about the exact words, 60 seconds are gone instantly, not giving you chance to test and see how much you really know. Sure, it separates those who know the answer fluently from those who don't, but that's all. I sort of understand quizzes that ask extremely simple things and measure speed or reaction only, and quizzes that give enough time and measure knowledge. This is neither.
I've played some quizzes about historical and movie speeches, and some extra time doesn't help those who don't know anything but it's important for those who do remember something. Even if you gave ten minutes for this quiz (I'm not saying that you should) it wouldn't make it too easy or the results meaningless.
I have nothing against the topic of the quiz, and I think the particular prayer is so well known that even atheists and people of different religions have a chance to know parts of it. |
