| Well, Germany is the same country now as it was in 1949. The GDR joined the FRG. They didn't form a new Country. The USA from 1958 is the same country as now, although Alaska and Hawaii joined in 1959. Same constituition only the territory changed.
As for the Czech Republic/Czechoslovakia case. The Czech Republic is a new Country with a new constitution. But its the same Football association (well, sort of), so I'll change it and allow Czech Republic for Czechoslovakia and vice versa. |
