	I'm certainly not going to apologize for or justify Woody Allen, but far from being "creepy" as in unusual, strange, unheard-of or eccentric, marrying your ward seems not to have been a uncommon theme in Victorian novels (I'm racking my memory trying to recall one example I know). That doesn't of course turn Woody Allen into Charles Dickens (1812-1870) or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930), or vice-versa.

	Thanks for the comments, everyone. Cool to see that this got published. On the Woody/Soon-Yi thing, just a factual correction: Soon-Yi was/is not his adopted daughter. She is the adopted daughter of his then long-term partner, Mia Farrow, and her previous husband, Andre Previn. Woody and Mia had a son together, so Soon-Yi is both his half-sister and his step-mother ... which I have no doubt really f@#%s with his mind. Incidentally, I agree that that was an awfully creepy thing for Woody to do. I admire his artistic brilliance, certainly not his personal rectitude.

	I admire nothing about this guy. I didn't get the either first or last name til the end. If I'd known it was about him, I would've skipped it. He makes me physically ill.
