| Do you (a) only consider landborders interrupted by the open sea, or (b) interrupted also by lakes, or (c) interrupted by any enclave/exclave? Option (b) doesn't make much sense to me, virtually any country will find 2 (small) lakes on its border somewhere.
Going with option (a), I have a couple of issues. (1) Belgium is missing on the list - its border with the Netherlands around Zeeuws Vlaanderen is, I guess, the reason you included Netherlands on the list. (2) Italy shouldn't be on the list, its border with France/Switzerland/Austria/Slovenia is contiguous. (3) Uzbekistan shouldn't be on the list, it has one contiguous land border, only interrupted on one side by Lake Aral. (4) Ditto with Turkmenistan and the Caspian Sea (a lake!). (5) Bosnia and Herzegovina is missing. (6) Nicaragua is missing. (7) Honduras is doubly listed. (8) Iran shouldn't be there, the only sea it borders is the Persian Gulf/Indian Ocean - the Caspian Sea, again, is a lake. |
