I think you could cut down the time by a few minutes. Also, does 8,000 = 8x10^2? or should it be 8x10^3 since 10^3 is 1,000 and 10^2 is 100?

98X10^33 is incorrect form for scientific notation, as there should only be one digit before the decimal. It should be 9.8X10^34.
