	Dude fans voted on ESPN for the best overall Starting line-ups...Bryant edged out Jerry West...I don't agree with some of these as well but for the most part I think the fans did fairly well.

	Yeah man... Carmelo got 61% of the vote...English only 37%..Younger fans tend to favor newer superstars and forget/not know about their team's past

	Brand isn't capitalized...and yeah I voted in all of these on ESPN and some were really damn difficult. I voted English over Anthony but, as mentioned, there's a youth bias. Also, Randy Smith is the all time leader in points for the Clippers and other stats but didn't get in. The choice between Bryant and West was tough...though I like West better, I went with Bryant because of the championships and him breaking West's franchise scoring record.

	@Thomsons_Yo: I would probably put Paul Pierce ahead of Parish. Parish was a good player and played forever, but he was never really a big star.

	I agree with sinatra22, Parish isnt the 6th man. Pierce or Cowens should be. For the Bulls I would also consider Bob Love. Other than that seems pretty good, even tho I would change a few stuff, but thats just me, its all legit.

	What does it matter if they hate him or not? Orlando's Shaq is a better player than Orlando's Howard. Cavs fans also hate Lebron but he is clearly the best SF (player) in CLE's history.

	Gasol for the Lakers? Seriously? If you're being limited to power forwards, Worthy seems the obvious choice there. That said, if you're really creating a team, you either go small and put West in and just run the hell out of the opposition (and with Magic at the point holy crap are you gonna score a lot of points), or you go big and put Wilt in there (though let's be honest, the Lakers are gonna score a lot of points no matter what lineup you go with). On another note, lol @ the Celtics being 80% white...

	Thanks for the feedback. After doing this quiz and writing the comment I did the quiz. People's voting made no sense. A lot of players (Barkley is one example) who seem to be voted on overall reputation than what they did for that team. He would have been my 4th choice for the rockets (Hayes, Sampson and Thorpe). Also nash infront of kidd for dallas is the same situation. The bracket is on now and to vote the Bulls to beat the all time sixers and celtics is a joke. The real best 2 teams are the Lakers and celtics because they have been to the most finals. Here's the real Matchups. Lakers: Magic, Kobe, Baylor, Gasol, Abdul Jabbar... Shaq, Worthy, West, Chamberlain, Mikan, Scott and Ac Green Celtics: Cousy, Havlicek, Bird, Mchale, Russel.... Parish, Cowens, Pierce, Garnett, Archibald, Sam Jones and Sharman

	It's hard to see Webber in the Warriors' lineup when you know he played only his rookie season in Golden State... For this example, ESPN is to blame: why can't we vote for Nate Thurmond in the PF sport ??? Considering the Rockets, having Barkley over Elvin Hayes is shameful.

	Regarding who was left off, seeing as it was an ESPN based quiz: I think, as previous commenters have mentioned, that it would have been better had certain players not been eligible (based on a short time for that team); and if some players could have been voted on at 2 positions (both forward positions, or both guard positions, or PF/C)--BUT NOT BOTH (in other words, voting for them at the one spot would make them ineligible to vote for at the other spot. Not too many errors, but some surprising ones. @Thomsons_Yo: pretty good picks for the 6th man, just change out Parish for Pierce on the Celtics.

	You are very inconsistent with your application of the # (intl) tag. For example, I'm pretty sure Dirk Nowitzki is German and Manu Ginobili is from Argentina. Pau Gasol is Spanish. Tony Parker is French. Just because they are active doesn't mean they can't also be international.

	Very fun quiz. The strange part about the voting results is the inconsistency of going with the player's career or just his time with a specific team. For example, Shawn Kemp is included in the Cleveland starting 5, yet Alvan Adams makes it over Shaq for the Suns. Also, as has been said, the position thing is a problem. Does anyone consider Gilbert Arenas a point guard?

	@mjkelly42: I'm pretty sure the # (intl) tag was meant to specify that Marbury was "active" but playing overseas, not in the NBA. This assumption is based on the fact that the designation is given to only one player, and said player is from New York.

	I think the best sort of guidelines for this list would be who was the best player at each position while they were on a specific team, not based on overall career. And I don't think ideas of strategy should come into play at all. Imagining a matchup of guys from the 50's vs. guys from 2011 is a little like imagining a tank going up against a guy with a spear and a shield.

	Sorry, but Okur is not the best Jazz center ever. Okur isn't even a real center - he's just a big injury-prone softie who shoots three-pointers. Mark Eaton was the greatest Jazz center ever - it's not even close.

	I can't believe anyone who ever watched the Timberwolves would vote for Rider over Wally Szczerbiak or David West. Then again, Al Jefferson's brief and uninspiring Wolves career got him the center spot--not that there's a better choice mind you.

	Kills me that people put soft Carmelo Anthony ahead of Alex English on the Nuggets SF rankings. No one scored more points than English in all the 80's. Not Wilkins, not Jabbar, not Johnson, not Thomas, not Bird. NO ONE. ANthony has 7,000 LESS points in his last ten years than English had between '80 and '89. Terrible.. the hype machine today.
