	ok, i know this is nitpicking but I'd be a bad art historian if I didn't. Leonardo da Vinci should be known as 'Leonardo' not 'da Vinci' kind of like how Rembrandt van Rijn is known as 'Rembrandt' and not 'van Rijn'

	I was going to nitpick on the Escher inclusion because that is actually a woodcut print and not a painting, but then I saw that a Bob Ross painting was included and my objection on the Escher point seems rather silly in proportion. I'm not sure how to respond to that: ask why there is no Thomas Kinkade painting or ask if Monet, Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, Degas, Gainsborough, Delacroix, Renoir, Goya, Pissaro, Rubens, et al. would have been included instead if only they had more happy little bushes and shy, half-hidden trees.

	Anyone freaking out about the inclusion of Bob Ross needs to chill out. At the very least when someone is flipping through the channels he'll catch your attention for 2 seconds and may have gotten more of this generation of kids interested in painting than all of these other artists combined. Glad to see my favorite artist up there, Norman Rockwell....Now I'm just waiting for the art snobs to comment that he was actually "just" an illustrator.

	@whitemale_98: I love Bob Ross. I watched his show, and I think he was a wonderful example of the joy art can bring. And of course he himself is more well-known and has likely brought painting to more people than, say, Manet. But the quiz title here is "famous paintings." I can't name you a single Bob Ross painting, and I don't know anyone who can. I don't know of any Ross painting where if you showed them to an Art History major they would readily identify it as belonging to that specific artist. Whatever beautiful Bob Ross work is pictured here, it's in a different category than the other works around it, which are well-known and identifiable as belonging to a specific artist. In contrast, the whole point of Bob Ross' painting was so that anyone could paint mountains and trees exactly like him. That's an admirable thing, and there's value in it, but it's completely different than what Rembrandt and even Norman Rockwell (who's included in most art history texts, by the way) were doing. That's why many of us laugh at the idea of including Ross, not because we dislike him or are "art snobs."

	Love this quiz. Ha ha ha for including Bob Ross. We need more quizzes like these...maybe famous artist not so famous paintings. Picasso's three musicians is a good example.

	Got 'em all except Ross. Funny thing is, I used to watch him as a kid. He never even crossed my mind. Complaining about painters that weren't included is pretty silly. There's hundreds of well known painters. A quiz has to stop somewhere. I LOVED the inclusion of Church! He's my favorite artist and this "Twilight in the Wilderness" my favorite painting. It's his only known work of an unknown geographical location.

	I saw the Kahlo, started to type O'Keeffe, realized I'd confused the names, then missed O'Keeffe. I think I would've spelled it wrong anyway.

	Gosh dang it, I couldn't spell Kahlo right!! For some reason, I thought it was a "C". I did all right. Most of the ones I missed were artists I never really heard of. And my two favorite paintings in the world are represented so this quiz is a-ok in my book. :)
