Hottest recorded temperature - this is dubious (according to meteorologists. For biggest cave, you should accept the first word, not require the entire text you have.

Isn't Barranca del Cobre in Mexico even larger than Grand Canyon? The hands-down winner, however, is the Yarlung Zangbo canyon in China, which is both deeper and longer than any other. The greatest depth is 5382 m, crossing between two peaks of over 7200 meters.

I thought you actually meant type in the lowest/highest recorded temperatures! Also Australia isn't a continent and 'greatest tides' is probably not a good thing to include.

Not sure where you got the idea that Australia isn't a continent. It absolutely is. Perhaps you are confusing it with Oceania (which is not a continent but a region, including the continent of Australia).

@cuendillar: Yes, you are right, The one in China is the largest according to American Geography Committee and Guinness Book of World Records.
