	@Davidos: Actually, I just changed that answer. Charlie Weasley was in the movies, but IMBd didn't list him in the cast. I realized this while making the quiz, but forgot to delete it as an answer. Sorry about that!

	I believe Charlie is only seen once, in the Prisoner of Azkaban, I believe, in the newspaper clipping photo of the Weasleys in Egypt. Though, that is so obscure, I would consider having him as a bonus answer. Also, was Andromeda ever seen in the films? I feel like if Ted Tonks wasn't portrayed then I can't see when Andromeda was ever seen in the films... unless you count her burn mark on the Black Family tapestry. Great idea for a quiz, yet again, Terra. And I totally agree, Marietta, Peeves and Binns were the three characters that irritated me the most that they excluded them from the movies altogether.

	@lucyinthesky9: You are right about Charlie, but since it's a photo, it counts as appearing. Andromeda was never seen in the films, but she is not one of the top 200 mentioned characters, so I didn't include her. And I can't include verybody because there are too many other characters who never appear. For example, Archie, the oh-so-lovable wizard at the Quidditch World Cup who wore a dress (he likes a nice breeze around his privates).

	Great idea for a quiz. Several of these absences annoyed me in the films. Was Dennis Creevey in the films? I know they introduced a character called Nigel Wespurt who sort of replaced Colin after the second film, and I think he also filled the role of Dennis.

	Dennis was not credited, but his name appears on the list of D.A. members, so I assumed one of the extras was meant to be him. I can add him if you think the lack of credits and evidence counts as an absence? My brain was debating that with itself for quite a while. Gave me a nasty headache!

@lucyinthesky9-wiki says that they filmed a scene for peeves for PS/SS but it didnt make the cut....gottta love archie!

	It seems like the cutoff for which characters are "major" enough to appear on this list is a bit arbitrary. Why is Ted Tonks there but not Andromeda? Why is Bertha Jorkins there despite not actually appearing in any of the books (except as a figure in the Pensieve)? And there are loads of minor characters who could be on the list.

	according to harry potter wiki, dirk cresswell is in the films, he can be seen badly beaten and being dragged along by snatchers...seeing as i can't remember him in the books i don't know if it makes much of a difference :/
