He only has one godfather, he certainly would never choose between his best friends, there is only one sport in the Wizarding World (as far as we know), I don't know if butterbeer is his favourite, just that he loves it, etc. And why is love a strange word? I love places and objects. I love my Beatles albums, I love Venice, I love pasta with seafood, I love Newbury Comics, I love The Office, and, obviously, I love the Harry Potter series. If you want to use the argument that he wouldn't die for them, that's because they're replaceable. If my house was set on fire, I would get my sister out, trust my parents to save themselves, and save the cats. I would not save the Root Beer I left in the fridge because I can get another. That is simply a matter of priority. I'm not saying he loves the things and places more or as much as the people, but I do think he loves them. |
