Seconded re: Arsenal's relegation. They were still Woolwich Arsenal at the time but the same club nevertheless. The good story is that they weren't promoted back in the true sense...

..so they never actually won promotion. The irony, of course, was that their 'promotion' that year was at the expense of Spurs!!
