| @PublicEnemy: Ukraine's Black Sea coast is basically considered to be the Riviera of Eastern Europe. Not to mention that it is much cheaper than beaches on the Med itself, whether in the Western or Eastern half. It is a very popular destination in Europe. Mexico is popular too, but Americans, who probably make up a significant majority of Mexico's international tourists, tend to be homebodies and generally prefer taking their vacations in the US. When Americans do go out of the country on vacation, they usually go to either Western Europe or the Caribbean, and most Americans prefer the island destinations to the mainland ones. |
