A prankster has rearranged thirty animals in the Sporcle Zoo. Mammals are suppposed to be in the Mammal Mojo; Reptiles are supposed to be in the Reptile Room; Birds are supposed to be in the Bird Basin. The prankster has randomly put the animals into one of the three areas...and the zookeepers don't know where any of the animals are!

	@doback: crap! Thanks; I changed viper's clue so that it works now. The tutorial is now a little bit off, but that step should be even more clear now because it doesn't take outside info. I'm kinda pissed I missed that one...

	The Gecko clue is too much math for me. It took me several minutes just to interpret the clue then do the algebra.

	The kiwi clue needs to be reworded. At that point, Alligator is the only cold-blooded animal whose location we know. We can't assume that cold-blooded animals are in both Mojo and Basin.

	Two spelling mistakes I noticed: "if AN only if" in the pelican clue, and "capbybara" in the woodpecker clue.

	Agreed with Interro. Seems reasonable to assume that the reptiles got split up between the other two areas, but it's not actually implied anywhere before the kiwi clue.

	Decent logic game. The author doesn't do a whole lot of explaining for the Gecko clue (even on Flickr), so here is one: 1. R= Reptile, B= Basin, M= Mojo. Therefore, R+B+M=30. 2. B=M (so we'll use A for both) 3. A=(.75)R and 2A+R=30. 4. 2(.75R)+R=30=1.5R+R=2.5R 5. Cleaned up... 2.5R=30, so R=12 6. 2A+12=30 7. 2A = 18 8. A=9, and remember, A equals M and B each. Result: R=12,B=9,M=9 To author: Don't use passive voice for your clues. Use direct voice instead. Your clues will be easier to understand.

	Thanks Dr-Seusss...I was having a hard time trying to figure out what the author was saying there, too. So basically, the Mammal Mojo only has 3/4 of what's in the Reptile Room. I originally interpreted this to mean Mojo plus Basin equals 3/4 of the total...but then you get 22.5, which doesn't quite work here.

	At the point when you get the clue about the primates being separate from the cold-blooded creatures, the only reptile whose whereabouts is known is the alligator...it is still technically possible based on what we know at that point for all the reptiles to be in the mammal room with the alligator, therefore it is still possible for the primates to be in the bird room and not be in contact with any reptiles, thus you cannot conclude that the reptile room is the only place the primates could be at that point.

	There are plenty of things wrong with this game, bmo1616, but the fact that Albatross and Anaconda are in the same column is not one of them.

	This might sound counterintuitive, but there's too much logic. With all of the 'if - then' clues all tied together, I just couldn't be bothered.

	As two others have mentioned, you hit a wall after revealing the 4 letter clues. There's no basis for assuming that the cold-blooded animals (reptiles) are distributed in both the bird and mammal rooms as we only have the alligator revealed so far and it's in the mammal room. The rest of the reptiles could also be there for as much as we know at this point, which makes both the reptile and bird rooms realistic possibilities for the two primates.

	You don't really need to do algebra to figure out the Gecko clue. It can be done with a little logic and a little guessing. If the other rooms have 75% of the Mojo, then the Mojo has to be divisible by 4. You'll see pretty quickly that 8, 12, and 16 are the only reasonable guesses. Then just find 75% of those and add them up. There's 30 animals. 8 + 6 + 6 = 20 so that doesn't work. 12 + 9 + 9 = 30, so that has to be the distribution.

	I found this quiz to be impossible, since, although there probably would be, you can't assume that there are reptiles in the bird basin.

	I'd have to agree with Interro and dpr. I have 6 clues (Alligator, Ostrich, Owl, Orca, Lion, Kiwi), which you can't really prove anything from without guessing. Kiwi's clue doesn't say anything, the primates could technically still could be in the Bird Basin, which would then mean the Bird Basin is ONLY mammals (nothing against that), and that all the reptiles are in Mammal Mojo. It's a stretch, but not disproven.

	I got to having 15/30 clues (and then got 3 more by guessing) and I was confused...maybe my math was off...but I go that for the Mammal Room and the Bird Basin there would be 9 animals, and for Reptile Room there would be 12. So then I had 15 animals left, no reptiles. I had 4 birds and 11 mammals. And I had 7 in the RR, 5 in the MM and 3 in the BB. And from one of the clues I got that there should be 3 birds in the mammal room and 1 in the reptile room. But the way I was doing math I couldn't figure out how to get nine animals in the mammal room, because 5+3=8, not 9 and there were no more reptiles! Anybody know what I was doing wrong? I was basing my logic off "2 birds in reptile room" and figuring out where the tortoise and anaconda were.

	everyone confused about the primates and the cold blooded animals - if you've seen the clue that no animals are where they belong, the cold blooded animals aren't in the reptile house, so the primates must be. I thought that was quite straight forward, it was the wording of the 75% clue that threw me, but, I left it to the end and guessed that the basin/mojo must be equal in number and took it from there

	Great quiz! Only one of the clues in Penguin/Baboon seem to be needed though. I'd also specify in Inguana's clue that the letter only appears once anywhere in the quiz. I was thinking it was referring to only the animals' starting letters and got thrown off initially. Additionally, as others have mentioned, it would be greatly beneficial to specify in the beginning that some reptiles will be in the Bird Basin. These are only minor adjustments, however. Great job!

	I'm sorry, but I would very much appreciate it if you could play this quiz with out having to guess, because the kiwi's hint states that the primates must be in a room away from the cold-blooded animals. So, we know they can't be in the Mammal Mojo, because we already know there's an alligator in there (plus the primates can't be where they belong.) Seeing as the only cold-bloods are reptiles, that makes the Reptile Room a total possibility. But, as we can't say for sure that there are reptiles in the Bird Basin, that makes two possible answers, making it impossible to play through this quiz without guessing. Please fix it.

	The Gecko clue should read "mojo and basin EACH have 75%..." With the "both" it could mean that the number of animals in the two rooms are added together to get 75% of the number in the 3rd room. I mean, it can still be figured out because the math won't work to an even number that way, but I think that's a lot to ask of people.

	You should change it to say Mammal Mansion instead of Mammal Mojo. Mojo doesn't really make sense.
