You can either play all 30 words straight (it goes kinda fast, though), or play each individually. If you choose the latter, you will have to pause it manually after each word, it will keep playing.

Good quiz! I look forward to the other letters, too. It would be nice if it could go a bit slower, but as you've acknowledged that in your intro, I assume it can't be done.

I could not make out what some of the words were supposed to be, like Abacus. That's one problem with using a computerized voice like this.

@THEJMAN: May I suggest accepting alternate spellings of #9 (…ise) and #19 (anae…) for our British friends?

@imclala: that's supposed to be part of the challenge. @BombaySapphire: done. Great advice.

I couldn't tell number 18 was plural :( Sounded like there was a t at the end. . . but fun quiz!

Abacus and adjourn were two I couldn't make out. I don't know if it's a sporcle glitch or my browser but I had to keep clicking the box to type anything.

Anaesthesia is spelt wrong in the quiz

@kingme: Anasthesia is the English spelling; however, the British spelling of Anaesthesia is accepted as well.

This is not fair because "ameba" is an acceptable way of spelling "amoeba." Then "adjourn" sounds like "abjourn." Also, the sounds are REALLY fast and almost impossible to hear!

@THEJMAN: Maybe you could use it in a sentence, or give a definition with its usage (noun, verb, adj. etc). That way, the word could be heard twice, and there should be less need to pause/replay the clip to hear the word. They do this in the spelling bees that I've seen/participated in.
