FANTASTIC wrong choices! But we all know Kyrie Irving took the Starfleet Academy basketball team to the 2387 Final Four.

Great game Supernuke. I always enjoy games where I am challenged; do fairly well; and also get to laugh! Thanks.

You misspelled B'Elanna Torres.

Is there a John... Luck... Pickard here?

I'm not a fan of mine quizzes to begin with, but a mine quiz that requires 57 correct answers is not a good idea.

What, no Morn? The wrong answers are awesome!

Some great decoys, indicative of excellent TV taste!

You might want to amend your title to something like 'Star Trek Characters (Clickable Minefield)'. A lot of people (such as amwoods13 above) dislike minefields on principle so it is nice to give them a warning before they open the quiz.
I actually like this. I think it works in the same way the Countries of the World (Redux) worked. It relies on picking great decoy answers (which have been highly praised by commenters already) and also a tight time pressure.

Clickable is fine. Making it a minefield - not so much.

Nimoy: Welshie! Fry: Welshie? Nichols: We did some musical reunion specials in the 2200s but the guy who played Scotty had trouble yodeling. Takei: Ever since then, Welshie has been a welcome participant in our escapades. Welshie: Aye, Dwi iawn 'n feddw!

I would have preferred another minute at least. I don't know if it's just my system, but these clickable games have a delay and I lose time just selecting an answer. Plus, I love a lot of the fake answers, but it would have been nice if it was a little lighter on the fake answers that were just spelling errors. Again, with the short amount of time, it takes some time to process if the answer is the correct spelling or not.

@katesutton: I agree. Sometimes I click answers before time runs out and don't get credit for them because it's too slow. @pcull1016: I agree. With very few exceptions, I hate clickable and minefield together.

This is my favorite quiz on the Citadel.

Given the current distractors, I agree the minefield aspect is a bad idea. It's basically testing whether or not you remember how to spell the names of some less prominent characters. Icheb or Echib? Dukat or Ducat? It's not a rewarding experience to loose over something like this.
Feb 7th, 2013 at 04:56 GMT
If I'm WATCHING the show, how can I know that Dukat is spelled with a K and not a C? You DO know that Cardassians don't write in the English Alphabet, right? I would take that one out.
Feb 14th, 2013 at 02:28 GMT
I wasn't going to say anything about it, but a number of people have complained. Ducat is actually a tv character from a very similar show called Babylon 5. I was hoping to play off the similarity between the two but I guess not enough people have seen the other. Also, in the episodes Marc Alaimo is in, he is usually credited as "Marc Alaimo AS Gul Dukat". If bothers people I will remove it though.

Got 'em all. Came THIS close to clicking on william odama. I hate these minefields, yet feel compelled to do them.
May 10th, 2013 at 02:29 GMT
LOVE all the wrong answers! I was so tempted to click on a few just because I loved the characters so much. haha. The quiz could have done with an extra minute or so though...
May 12th, 2013 at 01:27 GMT
Can this quiz not be a minefield? Thanks
May 16th, 2013 at 18:27 GMT
i can not count the number of times i clicked jake sicko. arrrrrg
May 17th, 2013 at 20:21 GMT
it's just mean to put "Ducat" as a mine for "Dukat", but great quiz!
May 21st, 2013 at 19:58 GMT
like the quiz...dislike that it's one strike and you're out.
May 30th, 2013 at 23:35 GMT
Like others, love the quiz. Hate the one strike and you're out. Too frustrating.
