	these aren't really coded and some of these aren't even countries or aren't anymore. If you reworked this as something like 'countries formerly known as' or 'known by their citizens' it could work. also, your stamp collection isn't a very good source since no one can verify it independently.

	also 'NOYTA' is actually 'ПОЧТА' (POChTA) and (like 'Posta') is not part of the name but rather means 'post' or 'mail'

	... and since I'm on a roll, here is the correct spelling of these countries: Azerbaijan -Azərbaycan, Mozambique- Moçambique, Turkey- Türkiye, France- Française, Czechoslovakia- Československo, Ireland- Éire, Iceland- Ísland, Côte d'Ivoire - Côte d'Ivoire, Spain- España, Austria- Österreich, Greenland- Grønland. Those are the ones I know, but you should include the diacritical marks where appropriate.

	Basically, what Stamps has done has taken what is printed on stamps and identified where it should fit in his stamp album. Unfortunately, the organization of stamp albums does not always match up with Sporcle's approach, or historical reality, for that matter. Example: If you look at the country Russia in an American stamp album or catalog, the stamps in that section start with those of the Russian Empire, switch to those of the Soviet Union in 1917, and then go back to Russia in 1992. So from the creator's perspective the quiz is accurate (and consistent with Scott Stamp catalogs (which could have been identified as a source as easily as the creators' collection). Unfortunately, Scott is not consistent with Sporcle and sometimes reality.

	Zaire was Republic of Zaire and is now the Democratic Republic of Congo. Republic of Congo is not the same country.

	Please accept DRC and CAR. Then, Côte d'Ivoire is Côte d'Ivoire in English too. Why CCCP (USSR) is Russia and Ceskoslovensko (Czechoslovakia) is Czech Republic?

	Bavaria is not a country, it's a state of Germany. Some of these are not country names at all but adjective forms (e.g. "Italiana"). It doesn't make sense to have some of the answers be the contemporary countries on the stamps (Yugoslavia) and others be their modern successors (Russia).
