Excellent game. Minor correction needed is the spelling of Grenada. Also, I didn't guess it but I assume that Bahamas will work as well as The Bahamas?

Should Moldova be in there? 68.9 according to the source, would have been very surprising if it was higher than estonia

Nice, quiz. Except it's spelled 'expectancy'. Also, I'm very surprised lesotho isn't here.

Jelle, as it is the same life expectancy as Sierra Leone, both are now accepted.

@UTR: Well played sir/madam! It is worth noting that these statistics have factored in infant and child mortality. I wonder how the answers would change if these were adjusted life expectancies which measure the average life expectancies for those who make it past a certain age (usually 5, 15 or 21) and exclude some deaths like war casualties and widespread diseases(like AIDS).

It's sad to think that living conditions on a small island like Hispaniola are so different that living on the Haitian side reduces life expectancy by more than 11 years.

I was thinking Bangladesh too. Nowhere near as much time to get through Africa as I needed, but, man, eastern Europe made things easy.

I ended up getting them all first time with a minute to spare. Obviously the lowest life expectancies in the world are found in Southern Africa due to the AIDS epidemic. Alcoholism and related issues have reduced Russian life expectancy, especially of men, since the fall of the USSR.

@hollabackitsobi: Russian men and women have the largest gap between genders when it comes to life expectancy in the world. The women live into the 70s while I think that male figure is in the high 50s, low 60s. It's really interesting and a major part of Russia's population collapse.

I'm not surprised Bangladesh isn't here. Overall, South Asia does relatively well; Sri Lanka's, for example, is only 3 years behind the USA, and better than some developed countries. India's is 69, still above world average.
