Good idea, but #6 is really hard to make out.

#10 is the old stance...he's since changed it.

Thank you very much BREWCREW. BISCUIT: do you mean the player or the actual number? I'll see what I can do about moving the number to make it more visible. BREWDUDE: Even so, most people are getting it as is and I still think the old batting stance fits the quiz description. Thanks for the suggestions though.

yes, really good quiz. I agree that the player for #6 was tough to make out. But I eventually got it. couldn't hurt to have contrasting background. I only missed #7. Weird angle, tough player to guess. But once I saw the answer, I could see how it was him. Great quiz!

excellent job. reminds me of when we were kids and used to mimic players batting stances playing ball in the playgrounds. i was always gary carter.

#10 has indeed changed his stance, but the image is the stance with which he's most recognizable. Since that stance is quite well-known for how different it is, I think it certainly belongs on this quiz.

good idea, but a lot of these should have better angles. the picture from counsell's angle is the best: shows the full stance and doesn't have any logos in the background. logos are an easy giveaway for some of these.

That's what inspired me smoggy. I remember during baseball practices we always used to mimic batting stances. I'm a bit young to remember Gary Carter well but doing the Shef's bat waggle and going through Ichiro's whole routine during BP was a blast.

I'm a Sox fan and the only one I missed was #7, poor showing on my part, definitely hard to pick him out there. Fantastic quiz though!

Agreed, great idea, but maybe make it so you can't just throw famous players out there. Change it so that you have to give a specific answer for each picture. I only got 7 'cause I guessed, you can't really see it (or 11).

I like this quiz, though #7 and #11 were both cut off for me (I'm not sure if this is a common problem or not).

I don't know why Ichiro's made me think of Cal Ripken for some reason but it did. Also, on a lot of these picture quizzes the lsat column of pictures gets cut off for me. Is that just me or are others having that problem too?

good quiz...but the picture you have for jackson is not his batting stance, it's the end of his swing...just thought it was strange that for everyone else you have the "before" and for him you have the "after".

Make another one! Oddest batting stance by each MLB team? Youkilis, Damon, Utley (his follow-through), etc. It would be so fun.

I was thinking of making one with pitchers' deliveries instead of a sequel to batting stances. Either way, I'll have another up sometime next week possibly. :)

You should block out the minute maid logo on the Bagwell picture... that's how I figured it out, and I ideal it should be just about the stance. Great quiz though!

Although Tony Batista isn't too well known, I think his stance is obscure enough that some people will recognize it

It's a little too hard. Some of those batting stances fit other players I know in the MLB as well. Good idea. it's a quiz I definetly would have done if I thought of it. 0/12

Youk? There's nothing weird about his stance, and you can't tell in the picture that his hands are apart...
