Ron Yary was the first overall selection in 1968, Steve Young was not selected in the NFL draft but the 'supplemental draft,' where he was taken first overall. Since this technically is
an
NFL draft, Steve Young is an accepted alternate answer. If anyone has a problem with this, let me know.

I almost nominated this before I started, thanks to the great title, but I waited until after.

Good quiz, but there are a few problems. US Federal Holidays is confusing, as Independence Day is commonly known as the 4th of JulY. Also, although I am not a baseball aficionado, I believe Yankees is not the team's nickname, it's their name, isn't it?

Thanks hscer, I appreciate that. And funseeker, I'm looking to change that clue and answer, I see exactly where you're coming from. And the 'nickname' of a sports team is just the name after the city.

The one thing that did end up bugging me later though was very minor (will keep it at one line though), I'd drop the American from the displayed answer to the U.S. War question. Kinda redundant.

Alright I changed out the holiday question and took out 'American.' I don't know if having three sports related questions is overkill so if you have a problem with it, let me know.

Yanma is the only Pokemon beginning with y? What about it's evolution, Yanmega?

Yoob is a character from the DS mario games. There are probably loads of other characters that start with a Y too.

Accept "Revolutionary" for Revolutionary War. Also, State University of New JerseY (more commonly known as Rutgers) is a Big East school so that could be an issue.

Toronto Blue Jays. Toyota Camry.

GPB, those clues are both in the "Starts with Y" column. Thus they do not fulfill the requirement. That's probably why you're on negative points for the post.
